When the beavers weren't there yet.../Toen de bevers er nog niet waren...

Look at the picture in the previous post and take a step backwards in time. This is what the forest and the little river looked like before the beavers choose to live there: A lot of trees, darker, an dirty river, moving water so no water plants, no animals...

This illustration is meant to be the bottom of the box and the previous one the lid. Together they have to show how the entrepreneurship of these beavers can change the environment and how plants/nature can benefit from that.

In deze prent zie je hoe het landschap eruitzag toen de bevers uit de vorige post dit plekje nog niet hadden ingenomen. Veel bomen, minder licht, een vuil riviertje met stromend water dus geen waterplanten en weinig of geen dieren...

Het wordt de onderkant van een doos, daar waar de vorige prent het deksel was. Samen moeten ze aantonen hoe de ondernemingszin van de bevers het hele landschap verandert en hoe de natuur daarvan kan profiteren.
